Chelsea hunt for Strasbourg’s wing instead of Mudryk

Chelsea are reportedly interest in Strasbourg winger Dylan Bakwa as a replacement for Mykhailo Mudrid, who is facing a doping investigation.

‘Football Transfer’ reports that Mudryk has been informe by the Football Association (FA) of the results of his first urine sample that came back positive for a stimulant.   

From now on, we are waiting for the results of the second sample to confirm the diagnosis from the lab. We are preparing to submit a report to the FA to consider the punishment, which, if based on the standard, would mean a ban from football around the world for up to 4 years. 

Although the Ukrainian player was able to seek a reduced penalty through the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), he has been out of action for months. 

Of course, the Blues couldn’t wait and are now eyeing the 22-year-old from Chelsea their sister club BlueCo. 

The Frenchman has made 4 goals and 8 assists in 25 appearances in all competitions this season . His contract runs until June 2027 and his valuation is just over 30 million euros (25.8 million pounds ) .
