However, Courtois said they are not giving up and will learn from their mistakes to seek revenge next Wednesday. 

“Arsenal are a strong team, especially at home,” he told Mobi Star Sports.

“They press well, play well between the midfield and forward lines and create dangerous chances in abundance.”

“I think we were able to handle it in the first half, creating dangerous counter-attack opportunities with quick counter-attacks.” 

“But in the second half, we seemed to forget how to play good football, we couldn’t find players to pass the ball. I’m not saying we were nervous, we were just not calm enough when we had the ball.”

“They finally scored two goals with great free kicks and then added a third.” 

“I think we responded a bit slowly. After that, we hope to get revenge when we play as a home team.” 

Madrid have lost just their second of 13 Champions League knockout games against English sides (W8 D3).
